On the left side of the Network and Internet settings window, make sure you are in the Status category. Choose open network settings and the Internet. The network icon looks different if you have an active cable connection or a wireless connection. The quickest way to do this is to right-click or long press the network icon in the notification tray and choose "Open network and Internet settings". Open the network and Internet settings in the Configuration application. Restore all network adapters to repair your connection.
